HEREBY GIVEN, that at a regular meeting held on the 10th day of
October, 2018, the Town Board of the Town of New Scotland duly adopted a
resolution, an abstract of which follows, which resolution is subject to a
Permissive Referendum pursuant to Section 64(2) of the Town Law of the State of
The following is a summary of the resolution adopted by the
Town Board on October 10, 2018: The
resolution authorizes the Town of New Scotland and the Village of
Voorheesville, as the contract vendees of the former Voorheesville Area
Ambulance Association building, to lease the premises known as 21 Voorheesville
Avenue (the “Premises”) in the Village of Voorheesville, Albany County, New
York to the Albany County Sheriff. The
resolution is conditional on a transfer of ownership of the Premises to the
Town/Village on or about October 30, 2018.
The term of the Lease is five years, with three renewal terms of five
years each. The rent is approximately
$12.00 per year.
A copy of the resolution summarized herein is available for
public inspection during normal business hours at the Office of the Town Clerk,
located at the Town Hall, Town of New Scotland, New York.
